Pop Faction started in Richmond in the fall of 1995, when four friends decided they wanted to take over the world. They started with some photocopied comics and homemade tapes.
The first mass-produced Pop Faction release was the 1997 Fontaine/Delicious Toothpaste 7", currently out of print. With the 2002 release of Vr's Quiet Contest, Pop Faction reorganized and continues its own renovation project every day. We are receiving considerable new attention with each new music and comic release.
